Q. How do I know if my BMW is “vintage” or not.
A. Here’s the designation of “vintage” for this event broken down by model as to what will be allowed into the display areas:
All pre-war BMWs, 502, 507, Isetta (300 and 600), 700, 2000, 1800, 1600, 2002, 2500, CS, Bavaria, 320, 323, e23 (1st gen. 7-series), e12 and e28 (1st & 2nd gen 5-series), e24 (6-series), all e30′s, M1′s, and Z1 roadsters. All BMW motorcycles up to 1985.
Q : Can we bring our kids?
A : This is a family oriented event, and kids are welcome. However, this is not Chuck E. Cheese and all children should be kept under control. There will be things to keep the youngsters busy such as a coloring contest.
Q : Can we bring our dog?
A : Yes, you can bring dogs but they MUST be on a leash and your MUST clean up after them.
Q : How can I set up as a vendor?
A : You must submit a completed vendor form along with payment before MAY 1st. Form available on vend/swap page.
Q : I have a trailered vehicle, where do I park?
A : You should unload your vehicle at your hotel and drive it to the display area Saturday. There will be little to NO room for trailer parking Saturday.
Q : Do I have to be a member of BMW CCA?
A : No.
Q : Can I come even if I don’t have a vintage BMW?
A : Yes, spectators are FREE on Saturday, but all activities are for vintage BMWs and their owners.
Q : Is there beer for sale?
A : Yes, we will FINALLY have beer AND wine available Saturday. There will be a beer/wine garden located behind the Salem Tavern.
Q : What kind of food is available?
A : There will be food vendors on site and there is also Mayberry’s sandwich shop and the Salem Tavern restaurant located in Old Salem.
Q : Can we bring our own food?
A : No problem.
Q : Will you have event t-shirts available again this year?
A : Not sure, might just have rally plates available as a souvenir. Although event posters will be included for free with your paid registration.
